Mountain Quail Lodge and Tented Camp lies by a stream and has a dense oak and rhododendron forest around it. Staying here is a true retreat to nature. The Lodge is 12.5 km from Nainital. It lies on Kilbury Road and is one kilometer short of Pangot village. Hotel Facilities Conference facilities are offered in a well equipped hall while recreational facilities include a gymnasium/health club besides pony rides, sightseeing, bird watching, trekking and jeep safaris, which are organised on request. You can also rent mountain bikes here. Bonfire/barbeque evenings are also organised on request. Other facilities available at the resort include car rental service, doctor on call, housekeeping service and laundry service. Room Amenities Accommodation in the lodge consists of 3 comfortable 'cottage style' suites. Each suite has a bedroom and bathroom, living room as well as a large outdoor patio. In addition to the lodge there are also several luxury tents, some with attached washrooms and others that offer shared washrooms. The resort provides hot water. Dining The dining room is on an elevated platform which provides excellent views of the surroundings. The menu comprises regular Indian and Chinese fare although some Kumaoni dishes are on offer as well.
