I was very disappointed with my visit to the Accademia Gallery in Florence. The museum is extremely crowded, and honestly, the only artwork truly worth seeing is Michelangelo’s David. Apart from that, there is very little of interest, and the museum itself is quite small. The audio guide was terrible. The numbers corresponding to the artworks are poorly displayed, difficult to locate, and often impossible to find, making the guide frustrating and almost useless. The visit feels overpriced. You end up paying a significant amount of money mainly to see David, while the rest of the collection does not justify the cost of admission. Overall, I would not recommend it unless seeing David is your main reason for visiting Florence.
